Please let Deepa know whether you able/willing to play. There will be mens, ladies and mixed - you can only enter 1 category. Those of you who entered previously, I will assume that your preference is the same unless you tell me otherwise. Hi All, A date for your diaries - Saturday 17th April, Bookham Badminton Barn Dance at Bookham Old Barn Hall, 55 Church Road, Great Bookham, KT23. Barn dances are fun and a good way to get together to socialise and have a few laughs. Its a family event, so bring the kids. Please support this. Some of you may be able to get 8/10 people to come along - if so please let me know. Rest of you can bring partners and get together with other members to form a group of 10/12. We really need to get about 100 people to attend in order for it to be successful - in all aspects. Cost is likely to be £10 per person - no charge for kids. I am looking into food options, so if you have any suggestions with contact details of caterers please let me know. We will reschedule the tournament to be played in the near future. Maybe an end of season tournament! Please let Deepa know your preference.
This years club tournament will take place on Thursday Jan 7th 2010 starting at 7pm (please note that this is earlier than standard club night).
There will be three groups and you can only enter one of these groups. They are Mixed, Ladies and Mens. Please note that there will be a £1 charge to go towards the cost of the trophies. Entries to be in by Thursday 10th December 2009.

It will be held at The Six Bells, Village St, Newdigate, Dorking. RH5 5DH on Saturday 28th November at 7.30pm.
Cost is £11 which includes a pub meal. Make your choice from:
Homecooked Ham, Egg & Chips · Sausage & Mash with Onion Gravy · Lasagne, Salad and Garlic Bread · Chilli Con Carne and Rice

Many thanks to Deepa for taking the time to organise this tournament. It was arranged in such a way to last one evening and for all members to have as many games as possible. To enable this it was run as three events and you could only enter only one of these, Mens, Mixed or Ladies. It was such a good evening we will be holding another Club Tournament in Jan 2010
